What are you going to do?

Our customer is seeking an experienced Network Engineer. You will become part of a team of network engineers and security experts that will take the responsibility for the continuity and improvement of corporate networks. Our customer is a leading Network Integrator that focuses on the design, delivery, implementation, security, maintenance and management of Next Generation Secure Networks for telecom operators, service providers and corporates. As part of an international team, you will be responsible for operations, innovation and renewal.

The engineer must have hands-on experience with multi-vendor hardware configuration and management (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortigate), extensive knowledge of routing protocols and traffic engineering, routed protocols TCP/IP (IPv4 and IPv6) and experience with DWDM networks. He or she also needs to have knowledge of DSLAM technology and capturing tools and traffic testers. It is a pre if he/she has experience with Python scripting.
As the work will be done mostly remotely, the engineer must have a real good English proficiency and be a communicative person.

What we need from you

To be able to properly fill this position, you must have the following skills and abilities:

  • 4+ years experience working in a network engineer position
  • Relevant certifications CCNA/CCNP, CCIE/CCDE
  • Knowledge of ADSL / DSLAM
  • English – Upper Intermediate/Advanced
  • Superior problem solving, analytical and communications skills;
  • Motivated, responsible, self-starter

The engineer will do network projects (upgrade/changes, set-up new networks) and second/third line maintenance and support.
